You may have lots of questions about Jubilee Jets especially if you have not been before. Below we have listed the answers to some of the most common questions asked by children and parents.

WHAT WILL I NEED TO BRING?

Come prepared to have some serious fun!

Please note that all items brought to Jubilee Jets must be clearly labelled with your child’s name.

  • A change of clothes, including spare socks
  • Wellies and waterproofs for trips to the woods and animals
  • Packed lunch (with an ice pack to keep it chilled)
  • Packed tea if you are staying for a full day (with an ice pack to keep it chilled). This is not required if you have booked a short day session.
  • Plastic drinks bottle
In warmer weather:
  • Sun hat
  • Sun cream (we are happy to reapply throughout the day)
  • Water play clothes (costume) and a towel to dry off
In cool weather:
  • Warm clothing
  • At least one change of clothes and spare socks
  • A coat
  • Waterproofs
  • Jumper / fleece

WHAT CANNOT BE BROUGHT TO JETS?

Food which may contain nuts

No mobile phones, portable electronic devices or cameras are allowed on site. Children are not permitted to bring penknives or money onto site.

WHO WILL I PLAY WITH?

Each child has the opportunity to choose the activities that they would like to play with so you can be guaranteed that children will be playing with those who have similar interests. Some children come with friends but many meet new friends for the first time, and build long-term childhood friendships. We have a really happy, enthusiastic and caring team that ensure everyone is looked after and involved in something they enjoy.

ARE MEALS PROVIDED?

Please ensure you have given your child breakfast before they arrive at Jets in the morning.

A healthy morning snack will be provided for the children, and the option of water or milk. You are required to bring a packed lunch and a packed tea if your child is staying for a full day. Please provide ice packs for lunch boxes as we are unable to offer refrigeration facilities.

We supply drinking water throughout the day but we do ask that you provide a refillable drinks bottle so that your children have easy access to drinks all day.

Food which may contain nuts must not be brought to Jets.

WHO WILL BE LOOKING AFTER MY CHILDREN?

The Jets crew are what make Jubilee Jets such a fantastic, fun experience. Our qualified play leaders are enthusiastic, caring and know how to have fun. The crew pride themselves on knowing each and every child and ensuring that their individual needs are met. Our play leaders all have first aid qualifications, are DBS (formerly CRB checked) and hold formal childcare qualifications. You can be assured that your child is being cared for by dedicated staff.

HOW DO I BOOK INTO JUBILEE JETS?

Complete our online booking form. For added convenience and peace of mind, you can even pay online.

CAN I USE CHILDCARE VOUCHERS?

Yes – we accept all childcare vouchers.

ARE YOU OFSTED REGISTERED?

Yes – we are operated by Jubilee Gems and our URN is EY449377.

WHAT SESSIONS CAN I BOOK?

  • Option 1: Full Day (8am - 6pm)
  • Option 2: AM (Either 8am - 1pm or 9am - 2pm)
  • Option 3: Short Day (9am-4pm)

HOW MUCH IS EACH SESSION?

  • Option 1: Full Day (8am - 6pm) = £36.75
  • Option 2: AM (Either 8am - 1pm or 9am - 2pm) = £25.50
  • Option 3: Short Day (9am-4pm) = £30.00

HOW CAN I PAY?

The quickest and easiest way is to pay online using a credit or debit card. Alternatively we accept cash or childcare vouchers.

All payment must be received prior to your child/children starting at Jubilee Jets.

HOW DO I DROP OFF AND COLLECT MY CHILD(REN)?

The car park is located opposite Jubilee Gems. Please come through the gate (ensuring these are firmly closed behind you) and enter through the main entrance. A key code system is in operation. For security purposes we ask that you do not give the code to your child or let them put the code in. You will be asked to sign your child/children in and out of the premises on the register provided and the time of arrival and departure recorded.

WHAT IF I AM LATE DROPPING OFF OR COLLECTING?

If you’re running late to drop off or collect your child, please call us on 0118 983 4018 or our admin number 0118 971 3840 as soon as possible. Our staff cannot leave children on the premises out of hours and therefore children collected between 6:00pm and 6:15pm will incur an additional fee of £15.00 and £10.00 for each 15 minutes thereafter.

Emergencies are to be expected and accepted but we do need your communication, preferably by telephone, in order to correctly assist you.

All payment must be received prior to your child/children starting at Jubilee Jets.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL A BOOKED SESSION?

If you do need to cancel any pre-booked sessions please contact us on 0118 971 3840 at the earliest opportunity so we can make the necessary amendments to our registers. All cancellation requests must be made through our head office only.

If the cancellation request is received two or less days before your child is due to attend you will not be entitled to any credit/refund and your sessions will be lost.

Our Holiday Clubs do not offer cash refunds for any booking cancellations. You may only receive a credit note.
